My Brother's Friend

Sota Nishino (Ryusei Yokohama) and Yukihiro Nanase (Tsuyoshi Furukawa) are longtime high school friends. During a visit to Yukihiro's home, Sota notices Yukihiro's sister Mai (Risaki Matsukaze) in a new light after overhearing a comment about her cuteness. Despite their inexperience with love, Sota and Mai begin to develop feelings for each other. Their budding romance is soon challenged by the arrival of Sota's cousin Ituski Kaga (Koudai Matsuoka), who shows romantic interest in Mai. This creates tension and uncertainty about their young relationship. Based on the manga series by Modomu Akagawara, "Anitomo" is a 2018 Japanese romantic comedy film directed by Ryo Nakajima.
