Marcho: the Last Flag

The docufilm recounts the story of Marcho, Lord of Moruzzo, the last standard-bearer of the Patriarchal State of Aquileia and the only nobleman to oppose Venice’s advance in 1420. Historians’ accounts and a letter rediscovered after five centuries bring his rebellion, the siege, and his tragic end back to light, restoring a figure erased from history.
