Echoes in the Darkness

In this fact-based film, educator Susan Reinert (Stockard Channing) and her children are brutally murdered. As police dig for clues, they are led to William Bradfield Jr. (Peter Coyote), a likable coworker -- and secret lover -- of Reinert's. The locals have a difficult time believing that the well-respected teacher is guilty, but evidence soon surfaces connecting Bradfield and the school's principal to a possible conspiracy involving Reinert's death and a major insurance claim.
