Designing Woman

In this sparkling romantic farce, sports journalist Mike meets fashion designer Marilla at a vacation resort. They fall in love and marry right away. When they return home, they realize that they live in different worlds and know nothing about each other. While they try to sort out their differences, Mike encounters his former girlfriend, and Marilla runs into her onetime beau. Due to the haste with which Mike and Marilla married, neither of their exes has yet heard about the wedding, and the notion that Mike or Marilla could still be lured away hangs in the air.
