Living in the same town, elderly widow Kamla Srivastava and widower Amrit Lal Sharma lead nearly parallel lives of emotional abuse suffered at the hands of their respective sons and daughters-in-law. Both have also formed caring relationships with their grandchildren. When the two happen to meet one day, they bond over their shared hardships.
