S3, E5: Sometimes animals look a bit strange … and sometimes, they act a bit strange. Featuring animal outliers that are nothing short of anomalous. The strangest and silliest superpowers sometimes leave the most lasting impressions. Take the Mata Mata turtle, which appears to be a partly petrified plant—until it strikes! Or the Safika, a lemur that zips around with a hilarious hop in its step. The hyena is neither cat nor canine, nor anything in between, so what is it? The Okapi seems to have a similar identity crisis, but sports one of the most mesmerizing coats in animalia. And what’s kookier than a cuckoo? These birds, however, are more cunning than crazy.
