S1, E4: Mao is shaken after her manipulative boyfriend Kota sends threatening messages. Hajime comforts her, "I'll protect you", and stays one night. His kindness over breakfast shows how different he is from Kota, but she tells herself not to fall for him. Then Kota's fling Mika invites her to lunch: "You know why." A challenge?
