Sookie begs Lorelai and Luke to set a date for their wedding, and Rory completes her 125th hour of community service.

Luke is jealous after Lorelai gets a phone call from Christopher, but a huge change in his personal life sees him rethink his feelings towards her. Meanwhile, Rory re-enrolls at Yale.

Wanting to cheer Rory up and take her mind off her own sad love life, Lorelai turns her house into an Asian-themed wonderland. While repairing the damage to the diner, Luke tells TJ about his break-up with Lorelai.

Lorelai expects the worst from her parents when she finally tells them that she and Luke have split up.
