In the stark and isolated "Central Initial Reception Office" in Eisenhüttenstadt, the lives of three asylum seekers intersect. Wasim from Syria, Mathew from Kenya, and Gedeon from Cameroon are stranded in this surreal, peripheral place, their futures uncertain as they navigate the impersonal bureaucracy of the German asylum process.
