Top Gear Australia

The boys go head to head with the Top Gear UK hosts in a battle for the Motoring Ashes. They are set a challenge by Jeremy Clarkson and co to experience the best and worst of British motoring. Their first assignment is to make it alive through Knowsley Safari Park in Liverpool driving some of Britain's worst cars. Having survived the Safari Park the boys are then rewarded with a chance to experience some of the best of British, which includes motors from the glory days in Derbyshire. Armed with British motoring knowledge, the three Australians return to face off the Top Gear UK hosts. Challenges include drifting, an upside down car race and a working mans Ute race.

Shane Jacobson, Ewen Page and Steve Pizzati embark on an odd outback odyssey to Lake Eyre in South Australia. This is a boys own adventure and has all the ingredients for disaster. They drive 40 year old cars bought off the internet along 4WD only tracks with sailing boats strapped to the car roofs. Their ambition is to sail on Lake Eyre now that it is filling for the first time in years. Shane Warne makes a guest appearance and road tests the Morgan Aero Super Sports at the legendary Silverstone Racetrack. Steve Pizzati explains the new Test Track and Lisa McCune offers her services to be the first celebrity driver.

Shane, Ewen and Steve head across to NZ and take on one of their most dangerous roads, for their own version of the infamous and dangerous Race to the Sky hill climb. The Stig makes an appearance to help take the three cars to the top of the South Island peaks. Ewen Page lives out a teenage fantasy and drives a Ford performance V8 racing car through the streets of inner Sydney. He also gets a chance to drive the V8 Supercar flat-out around Melbourne's Calder Park raceway. Shane Jacobsen test drives the latest American super car, the Corvetter ZR1, and Michael Clarke takes on our brand new celebrity Ute.

Shane, Ewen and Steve take on the ultimate grey nomads challenge, hitching vans to cheap priced 4WD's in an attempt to see if the great Australian retirement motoring journey is still possible on a budget. Shane Warne tests the world's fastest road car - the Caparo T1 - at the home of the British Grand Prix, Silverstone. Steve test drives the latest budget priced Lamborghini. Andrew Hansen and Craig Reaucassel from the Chaser take on the Celebrity track and break all the records.

Shane, Ewen and Steve embark on a mission to create a new Peel world speed record. Australia has long had a love affair with the V8 engine. But sales of small, fast hatchbacks are increasing - and one of the best is the Renault Clio RS which Steve loves. Shane challenges Steve to a race in his car of choice - a V8 FPV GT Falcon.
