A sudden cold snap freezes the Nemiah Valley floor, forcing the team to make last-minute adjustments if they hope to get on an even footing with the wild horses.

The team pursue a group of studs through the treacherous terrain on Bald Mountain, but moving them from the catch pen to the training grounds is an entirely different challenge.

Hawkridge has his eye on a group of unusual white horses on the Konni Lake hills. Howard enlists his old friend Darren to help bring in the mysterious studs; a newborn foal follows Meranda home and the team must work together to save it.
