The Turkish Detective

Detective Mehmet Suleyman arrives in Istanbul to join the formidable Inspector Cetin Ikmen's homicide unit, alongside Detective Ayse Farsakoglu and IT guru Tarik, and finds himself embroiled in his first murder investigation.

With the new development on Gozde's case, suspicion initially falls on her secret boyfriend Kemal. However, after Kemal's interrogation and the non-confirmation of another alibi, a new suspect is formed.

The public murder of music manager Demir, from one of Istanbul's most successful families, initially seems linked to his involvement in the music business; Suleyman reconnects with his estranged father.

Now convinced that either Dillon or Cem was responsible for Demir's death, Ikmen is given 24 hours to pinpoint the killer; Suleyman and Kemal take Leyla back to her old apartment, where they discover a USB memory stick.

Ayse investigates a serial killer targeting rubbish collectors in a poverty-stricken neighbourhood; Suleyman lets Ayse in on his secret mission to help Leyla; Ikmen finds it hard to stay away from work and worries about baby Serpil's health.

Suleyman goes undercover into the world of the trash collectors to get closer to the two remaining suspects, and Ayse must carry on with the Leyla case in his absence; she goes to see an infamous Istanbul drug trafficker.
