The Great Cookbook Challenge with Jamie Oliver

Jamie Oliver and Penguin Books team up to find the next big cookbook author, as cooks compete to impress judges Jimi Famurewa, Georgina Hayden and Louise Moore for a one-of-a-kind publishing deal.

The second set of cooks pitch their dish and cookbook ideas to the judges. The pitches include one dedicated to lasagne, one celebrating seasonal produce, and one offering easy Asian-inspired recipes.

The third set of cooks pitch their cookbook ideas to the judges. The cookbooks range from promoting unsung ingredients and crusading against food waste, to seeking inspiration from both travels and closer to home.

The six remaining cooks make a quick weeknight meal and a weekend feast, in a bid to impress the judges and prove that their cookbook idea has the recipe for success. The dishes will undergo further scrutiny in a twist that leaves the cooks shocked.

The remaining five cooks are to create two dishes that will be judged on how they look professionally photographed and their ratings on Jamie's snap poll; the judges decide which contestant's journey ends here.

Semifinal week presents more challenges for the final cooks. The first challenge is to see how the cooks perform under the pressure of a live cooking demonstration, while the second challenge is to cook a meal worthy of a double-page spread.
