Pauline is distraught when dad Frank has an accident, but is floored by her husband Ken's cruel indifference -- the last straw for Pauline.

When Pauline is invited to Paris by her new man, Ken realises it is time he accepted that things are over and started making changes; out with the old and in with the new, but he soon realises that he doesn't like the new.
