Start from the bottom up, the students learn how to survive the fast paced diner environment; a new student arrives and the rest of the house wonder if Amanda is gone for good.

The students are coached on knife skills, and cooking with four types of heat.

The students learn about flavour profiles where they must use the five tastes in a challenge. Tension soars when the house is divided, a food fight ensues, and the house turns on Harrison.
