When a trio of elephants are orphaned in Zambia, they are rescued and transported to a purpose-built nursery. But it won't be smooth-sailing for the young pachyderms; life lessons will be tough to imprint before they are returned to the wild.

The Lilayi Elephant Nursery near Lusaka in Zambia is home to four orphan elephants. The two oldest have been there since they were just a few months old. These boisterous babies are out-growing the nursery and it is time to move to big school.
