Going Places with Ernie Dingo

Ernie visits the Great Barrier Reef and catches up with people who call this unique part of the world home. He meets Yindinji elder Gudju Gudju, Jamie, a toxicologist, and Gareth, the skipper of Monsoon.

Ernie visits with some of the traditional owners of Uluru as well as local workers and visitors, experiencing the way the important landmark is cared for, toured and protected.

Ernie is in Kakadu, where he takes a boat cruise up to East Alligator, meets photographer Louise, hangs out with Trevor, a ranger, and goes on a helicopter ride with Steve, originally a policeman.

Ernie is at the spectacular Cradle Mountain in Tasmania, where he meets a determined young ranger, a wildlife conservationist, a passionate pilot and an insightful young Palawa man.

Ernie goes to Ikara, also known as Wilpena Pound, in the stunning Flinders Ranges, where he meets a young pilot, an Adnyamathanha Elder, a National Parks ranger and a passionate cultural guide.

Ernie visits tropical North Queensland, where he meets a respected Kuku Yalanji Elder, an environmentalist who is dedicated to changing attitudes and a river guide who's made a sea change.
