Fresh out of prison, Sam Cash meets with Joe Brady in defence of a group of miners facing off against cruel police officer, Lieutenant Keogh. In the face-off, Sam and Joe shoot two officers in self-defence and find themselves on the run from the law.

Sam and Joe race to track down the witness who can clear their names. Meanwhile, Keogh is also tracking the witness, but intends to kill him.
