Six Brits who are living with obesity embark on a fact-finding global journey. In Japan, where obesity is almost non-existent, the group throw themselves into the national diet, and Russ strips off for a Sento bath.

In Tonga, the tourists meet Ofeina, who is battling to turn around the island nation's obesity crisis. The group embrace the traditional Tongan diet of raw fish, despite not liking it much.

In Texas, the tourists are shocked to discover that there's a whole industry to cater for people with obesity: there's a fast food joint on every corner and expensive quick fixes everywhere. But it's hard to find good, cheap, fresh food in the shops.

In Mumbai, India it's boiling hot, and the tourists are struggling, especially when they find out the food is vegetarian all week. They're shocked to learn that obesity is growing exponentially in India, and there are now 14 million obese children.

After their globe-trotting adventure, losing pounds wherever they went, the tourists head home and back to reality. After a month apart, the group meet at a country estate for a final weekend together to discover how they've all been doing.
