With the household bills piling up, Lucy goes on a radio show to try and win $1000. The catch is, she must convince Ricky that she has been married before.

The Mertzes get into a feud with Ricky and Lucy, which could force them to move out. In order to get one back on them, they start singing loudly at all hours of the night.

After Lucy and Ethel decide to buy a used, walk-in freezer to make some extra money, Lucy finds herself trapped inside it. Plus, they unwittingly buy 320kg of beef before trying to sell it to customers at the butcher shop.

The Mertzes change the Ricardos' anniversary plans.

Fred and Ethel separate, so Lucy invites them both to dinner in a secret attempt to reunite them. The plan works, but then Lucy and Ricky end up having a fight.

While arranging a new show for a new club, Ricky loses his voice and is ordered to bed-rest by the doctor. Keeping Ricky and his boss in the dark, Lucy secretly assumes responsibility and creates a completely different show that surprises everyone.
