Sue accidentally runs over Axl's foot while practising for her learner's permit, and Brick indulges in too much Halloween candy.

Frankie is upset with her volunteer assignment at the Indiana-hosted Super Bowl; the Hecks take advantage of the Donahues' car while they're away.

For Christmas vacation, Axl decides to spend time with his friends over his family; Sue discovers she's allergic to the Christmas tree.

The school therapist advises Frankie and Mike to get Brick a small pet, to help his interactions with people, but his new bunny is a bit of a prickly customer.
