Fried Chicken Day

Kai, a fostered teen from California, arrives in the small Southern town of Grangeville in the 90s. On his first day of high school, fried chicken for lunch sparks a deep-fried frenzy that leaves Kai clearly out of his element. He befriends two locals, Travis and Brandi. Together they uncover the lost village of Dreamcaster Cove, revealing a dark truth his greedy foster father buried decades ago.
