Fred
S1, E6: Fred is addicted to love; only trouble is he can't find anyone to fall in love with. The angst ridden, emotional teenager is just about to turn 18 and is taking stock of his life; he's doing well at his new bar job, playing great gigs with his band and has no trouble pulling the ladies. But Fred isn't satisfied with one-night stands and is constantly searching for that special someone. His friends can't understand why he is so obsessed with the 'spark', his work mates tell him that he can have more outrageous sex on a one night stand, and even his female friends despair over Fred’s being way too EMO for his own good. And with all that pressure Fred is wondering if they’re right so takes the plunge and has a one-night stand. But things are never easy for this hopeless romantic and his ‘carefree’ night of passion ends in a trip to the family planning clinic. When his 18th birthday meal with his dysfunctional family ends in a blow-out argument he has to address how his parent’s relationship has impacted on his ideas on love and life. Will he be able to face up to the reason he’s over-emotional and obsessed with finding ‘the one perfect girl’ and in the process grow up?
