Halstead hides the theft of his gun from Manning, while Hank struggles to keep his emotions in check when he sees an old patient.

Halstead is criticized for making an unauthorized move to treat his pregnant patient, and Choi becomes personally invested when treating a homeless veteran. Meanwhile, Rhodes and Bekker deal with a patient who desperately needs a liver transplant.

Halstead and Manning's wedding day is interrupted when Halstead is forced to make a house call. Charles treats a woman who stabbed her husband. Meanwhile, Choi and April deliver a breech baby, and Rhodes and Bekker operate on an FBI witness.

An alarming phone call prompts Rhodes to rush out of an important surgery. Halstead comes to the aid of an FBI agent who is brought into the ED. Manning and Choi find themselves on opposite sides of a disagreement over doctor-patient confidentiality.

The hospital goes into lockdown mode when a man with a gun holds medical staff hostage; Goodwin is forced to make a tough decision; Dr. Rhodes begins to realize his time with his father is getting short.
